FORUM Credit Union Promotes SaveItUp Week
Indianapolis, Indiana, May 1, 2009 – In February 2009, FORUM Credit Union announced the launch of a new program designed to encourage people to save money, change their spending habits, and become better money managers. The SaveItUp Program challenges participants to complete items within five different categories including budget, thrift, savvy, goals, and education. By completing items within these categories, participants are entered to win up to $5,000.
FORUM will be promoting the SaveItUp Challenge at all FORUM branches May 4 through May 8 with branch activity days that correspond to the challenge. Monday, May 4th is designated as Budgeting Day. A Branch Representative will be available to sit with members and non-members and go through a comprehensive budgeting worksheet. Financial Coach Day, Tuesday, May 5th, is a time for people to connect with a free FORUM Financial Coach for help on achieving financial goals. Members and non-members can receive a free credit check and analysis on Wednesday, May 6th. On Thursday, May 7th, a Branch Representative will be available to help people set up their bills through FORUM’s online Bill Pay. Friday, May 8th will be a good time for people to visit the branch and learn various ways to save money.
SaveItUp participants also have access to tools and information through the SaveItUp website www.SaveItUpChallenge.com. The SaveItUp Challenge is open to FORUM Credit Union members and non-members and runs from February 1, 2009 through October 31, 2009.
