New FORUM CEO is Named

Indianapolis, Indiana, November 15, 2011 – Doug True has been named the next CEO of FORUM Credit Union, effective November 11, 2011. True has been with the Credit Union for more than 20 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and innovation to the CEO position. He was an original member of the Filene i3 group and is currently Treasurer of the Indiana Credit Union League where he spearheaded the development of the ignite Indiana program, an innovation think tank of credit union professionals from Indiana.
True held numerous responsibilities throughout his career with FORUM, most recently serving as the Chief Lending and Technology Officer for the Credit Union. He was the architect of a revolutionary lending system and helped found FORUM Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of FORUM Credit Union, where he served as President of the company. He is widely known in the credit union community as a presenter at several national conferences and as one of the first credit union professionals to engage in social media.
