FORUM Announces New Hires

Indianapolis, Indiana, June 18, 2012
– FORUM Credit Union announces the hiring of MeChelle Callen, Vice President of Organizational Development, and Rick Walke, Assistant Vice President of Internal Audit and Compliance.

MeChelle Callen joined FORUM Credit Union in May 2012 as the Vice President of Organizational Development. MeChelle has enjoyed a career of nearly 25 years in Organizational Development and Human Resources, working in the not-for-profit healthcare and commercial real estate industries prior to coming to FORUM. MeChelle has focused much of her career on leadership development, diversity and inclusion, as well as human and organizational performance. She is a member of several local and national professional organizations including the Central Indiana American Society for Training and Development (CIASTD) where she is currently serving as the Program Chair for the CIASTD 2012 Fall Conference. MeChelle and her family are very involved in the Hendricks County community where they all volunteer with Hendricks Civic Theatre (HCT). She serves as a member of the play selections committee and as a general administrations volunteer with HCT and has been known to take the stage with her family on a few occasions. She is also a member of the Avon High School Choir Boosters. MeChelle holds a Masters in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, a Bachelors of Science from Ball State University and is an HRCI certified Senior Professional in Human Resources.

Richard Walke joined FORUM Credit Union as the Assistant Vice President of Internal Audit and Compliance in May 2012. Rick’s career spans over 25 years with experience in internal audit, regulatory compliance, operations, information technology and corporate risk management. He began his career with an Indianapolis based savings/commercial bank and most recently spent 10 years at a smaller community based savings bank. Rick is active in the Indianapolis area internal audit community, having just completed two terms on the Board of Governors of the Indianapolis Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors. He is also a past president of the Indianapolis Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors. Rick is active in the Shelby County Players, a community based theatre group, where he assists with theatre production and serves on the building search committee. Rick is an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 203 in Shelbyville, Indiana and is an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Shelbyville currently serving on the church’s finance committee. Rick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Marian University, formerly known as Marian College, in Indianapolis and he holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington. Rick is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, and is certified in risk management assurance.
