FORUM Named Top Place to Work
Indianapolis, Indiana, April 21, 2010 – In April, FORUM Credit Union was named a Top Place to Work and ranked in the top 25 for midsize companies, defined as 150 to 399 employees, by the Indianapolis Star. 105 central Indiana companies and their employees took part in a survey through Workplace Dynamics of Exton, PA. The survey included questions regarding management, benefits, ethics, training, and work-life balance.
Companies who participated were also asked to submit specific examples of what sets them apart. FORUM noted that their headquarters building has an onsite fitness center free to employees and those working at branch locations are eligible for $200 annually toward a health club membership. Employees may also participate in a 401(k) plan with company matched funds. Additionally, FORUM offers two medical and two dental plans and makes an annual contribution to employee HSA accounts. The Training department was also recognized in 2008 by both Training Inc. Magazine and the American Society for Training and Development. FORUM offers employees the opportunity to utilize Socialcast as well – a microblogging platform for employees. This allows employees to recognize co-workers for their efforts relating to member service and sales and to share success stories with others throughout the organization.

In celebration of being named a Top Place to Work, the FORUM Human Resources department decorated offices with balloons, sent a congratulatory email, and provided employees with breakfast.
