FORUM Credit Union Leaders Recognized for Dedication and Service
Indianapolis, Indiana, September 7, 2012- FORUM Credit Union is pleased to announce that two of its leaders are being recognized for their dedication and service in the financial industry.
Chris Ferguson, AVP-Retail Delivery, has been named as one of fifteen top nominees in the Credit Union Executives Society’s (CUES) 2012 Next Top Credit Union Exec challenge. The competition seeks out young, creative credit union professionals who have not yet reached the CEO level. Ferguson has moved through various rounds of the competition which included video submissions and public voting. Nominees will produce blog posts, videos, and then be judged by a panel during the remainder of the competition. The final five nominees will be named later in September with the winner announced in November.
Andrew Spirrison, AVP-Retail Delivery, will join the Filene Research Institute’s signature i3 program. The program which stands for ideas, innovation, and implementation, is responsible for fostering the development of new ideas and innovations for credit unions. Filene received more than 70 applications from a wide range of credit union executives in the country and named 18 to the program. Spirrison will serve a two-year term, participate in semi-annual meetings, and be responsible for piloting new ideas for the credit union.
"FORUM Credit Union is fortunate to have team members like Chris and Andrew serving our members,” said Doug True, CEO of FORUM Credit Union. “We are proud of their accomplishments and share their excitement in being recognized by industry leading organizations like CUES and the Filene Research Institute."
