FORUM is dedicated to embodying the cooperative credit union spirit in all we do. That’s why we created the FORUM Credit Union Foundation. The Foundation is committed to strengthening the communities we serve through youth educational opportunities. This includes both educator grants and collegiate scholarships available to FORUM members.
Each year, FORUM awards $25,000 in educator grants ($2,500 maximum grant per educator). Since the inception of this program in 2014, FORUM has awarded $75,953, funded 49 projects, helped more than 10,850 students, and impacted 40 schools. Educator grant winners from previous years have purchased various resources and supplies including a potter’s wheel for art class, STEM supplies, classroom books, dissection supplies, a drone, 3D printers and more.
If you or someone you know is interested in applying for an educator grant through the FORUM Credit Union Foundation, the deadline is approaching! Online applications are being accepted now through September 1, 2017.
- FORUM Credit Union members in good standing with their FORUM account opening date no less than one-year prior to the time of application. Or, the applicant must be employed as a teacher or administrator at a school corporation that has a written or oral agreement with FORUM Credit Union.
- Teachers/administrators must return the signed consent form.
- Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
