Remembering by Donating

Tuesday, 11 September 2007 03:47 by Courtney

It's been 6 years since the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City. I was reminded of this while driving to work this morning. Army veterans, firemen, and policemen were standing on a median with a sign that read, "Never forget." Even though 9/11 was a day of great tragedy, there were hundreds of heroes. This is a reminder that we can choose to be heroes too.
By donating to certain causes, we can make a difference, no matter the dollar amount. Here are some good websites when thinking about where to donate:

So, this week's question is: Do you currently give your money or time to a certain charity? Tell me about it. Or, is there someone you know that gives their money or time to a charity?
