Hi everyone! How are you this week? How was your fourth of July? Mine was good! My husband and I went to a friend's house for a huge cookout and fireworks.
This week, I'd like to give you a short scenario, and then give you the question.
Scenario:
You have just graduated college, you are making $45,000 a year before taxes, you are single, and you are looking for a place to live. You have the option of renting an apartment or buying a house. The apartment would cost $800 a month plus utilities. The house would cost $1100 a month plus utilities. Remember, you'll also be spending money on insurance, groceries, eating out, entertainment, and other miscellaneous items.
Would you choose the apartment or the house? What reasoning did you use? Did you do any calculations, if so, what calculations?
