Although you’re probably tired of having sales people ask you if you want to sign up for the store rewards program, the savings can really add up over time, especially if you shop at the store frequently.
Not to be confused with store “credit” cards, most grocery stores, retailers, office supply and bookstores have rewards or loyalty programs. They are either based on the types of items that you purchase or the amount you spend. So, it can be an instant savings at the checkout, or after your spend so much at the store, you can earn a coupon or percentage off. You’ll probably be asked at the time of purchase whether you have the store’s reward card, and if you don’t, this time, instead of saying “no thanks” ask for details.
Having to carry around so many key fobs is a pain - I found this great website that allows you to combine up to 8 of your loyalty cards into one card: http://www.justoneclubcard.com.
Please comment and let us know of any great rewards programs that you have or have seen.
