Make home improvements that can make your home more energy efficient without spending large sums of money. Weatherproof your home. Caulk holes and cracks that let warm air escape in the winter and cold air escape in the summer.
Also be sure to perform regular maintenance on your heating and cooling systems and other appliances to prolong their life. Don’t put off repairs to the home; the damage could become worse over time and cost you more to make the necessary repairs.
