Effective July 6^th, the Wayne Branch lobby and drive-up will be closed.  Additionally the branch hours of operation for the remaining branches will be adjusted.  An analysis of our competitive position revealed that many institutions already instituted shorter business hours.  Combining that information with the member usage patterns of our own branches helped guide the decision on the new hours. The decision to reduce the Wayne branch to a drive-up ATM location only is based upon our analytical review of all branch locations that included:  transactions processed, number of members using the branch, production at the branch, potential for the branch market area and the proximity of other branches or shared branch outlets. As a financial cooperative our fiduciary duty is to make fiscally responsible decisions that maximize the benefits of being a member through efficient service delivery, higher returns for savers and lower costs for borrowers.  Service delivery options are also influenced by the demographics and psychographics  – the characteristics or profile of the membership.  A high percentage of our members use electronic delivery channels including:  chat, email, CU Online, ATMs and the call center.  Our newest delivery service, DeposZip, which enables members to perform deposits using a home scanner and PC, has exceeded expectations for acceptance.  We understand the negative impact to some members, however our responsibility for the membership in totality has to be our primary concern.   The new branch hours that will effective July 6^th are as follows:
