Embracing the Errand
Here we are already into the summer months of 2012 and many exciting things are happening at FORUM! As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, our purpose is to offer products and services that help our members improve their financial lives. Any investment in your Credit Union is tested against this purpose. Here are some recently completed initiatives that I – and my FORUM teammates – hope you see as worthy investments:
CU Online, FORUM’s online banking system, has been updated to provide access to your FORUM account(s) via the internet or mobile apps. The solution was built and designed in-house with the help of a local company that believes in and uses FORUM Credit Union for their employees. Many new features are included and most were ideas suggested to us by our members. One notable addition are budgeting tools that complement our participation and support of Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. Also, did you know you can deposit a check with FORUM using your camera on your Android or iPhone?
FORUM teammates have declared a Service Revolution in an effort to continuously improve our service to you. Each of our teams has defined service standards and they are living by them. It is our hope that you see the difference and catch the enthusiasm we have for service. If you visit one of our retail offices, you might even see FORUM Service Revolution t-shirts being worn by the team serving you. These shirts were designed by FORUM team members and visibly declare our commitment to serving you.
We have served many of our members with mortgage refinancing or new home financing. It has been incredibly busy in the mortgage area and we are honored that so many members have entrusted us with this significant role in their life.
We recognize that we are often just an errand on your to-do list. This is why we not only want to improve your financial life, but we also want to make your interactions with us as time efficient and pleasurable for you as possible. The highlights above are all indicative of this commitment. From mobile phone access to making the mortgage process as efficient as possible – all of these touch on us "embracing the errand" that we may represent in your busy life.
