Planning for Your Future.

What does retirement look like for you? Do you dream of golf outings, spa treatments, travel,
and eating at nice restaurants? Or, do you want to live a little more simply – card games, time
with friends and family, meals at home, reading? Do you know how much you’ll need to just live
versus living your dreams?

The amount needed for retirement varies from person to person. So, how do you know what
your specific retirement dream will necessitate? Online calculators and estimators can be useful
tools to help you get started. You can find a range of retirement calculators from extremely
simplistic. Click here to try a detailed calculator at AARP. This calculator even accounts for the
type of retirement lifestyle you’d like to have – modest, the same, or extravagant.

The most important piece of the puzzle is planning. No matter how you want your retirement to
look, you need to plan for it. The earlier you start planning, the more you can save. Plus, with
life expectancy increasing all of the time, it’s more important than ever to ensure you have a
financial cushion to support yourself. With enough planning, you’ll be more likely to navigate all
that presents itself during retirement.

Planning your retirement future depends on a myriad of factors that should all be taken
seriously. An expert can help you create a comprehensive plan that is tailored to meet your
individual needs. If you would like customized advice on how to plan for retirement, FORUM
Private Client Group can help. To discuss your specific planning needs, they can be contacted

I recommend any one saving toward retirement to max out a Roth IRA. It means tax free withdraws when you're eligible to start taking out for retirement.
