FORUM Youth Member Opportunities

At FORUM, we know the future is dependent on the youth of today. We believe it is extremely important to serve our younger credit union members to help them grow in all areas including education, community leadership, and business etiquette. That’s why we offer FORUM Foundation Scholarships and the Young Leaders Council.
The FORUM Credit Union Foundation was created in order to strengthen the communities we serve by enhancing youth educational opportunities and experiences. We aim to make a difference by offering collegiate scholarships to FORUM members who embody the cooperative spirit. The Foundation awards up to seven $5,000 collegiate scholarships per year. In addition, the collegiate scholarships are eligible for renewal, allowing recipients the potential to receive up to $20,000 over the course of their four-year collegiate experience. Applications are due by February 1, 2017. For more information and eligibility requirements, click here.
FORUM also offers the Young Leaders Council. This is a group of young adults working to collaborate on new ideas for the credit union and reviewing current products to ensure we are marketing efficiently toward the young adult market. Youth throughout the community, ages 17 to 24, can join these meetings as little or as often as they like. Meetings will be held at FORUM Headquarters in Fishers and at other surrounding meeting areas in the community. Council members will gain experience in community leadership and business etiquette, peer leadership skills, and have an opportunity to make suggestions on the decisions of the credit union.
