FORUM Credit Union is pleased to announce the winner of the annual Young Leaders Council Entrepreneur Program, a contest that awards $5,000 annually as a way to promote early entrepreneurial skills for young adults across Central Indiana.

This year’s winner, Paige Murrell, submitted a comprehensive business plan for her company named The Story Sketcher.  The Story Sketcher is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Murrell that produces well-designed and whimsical sketch and animation videos. Murrell’s concept focuses on the voices that deserve recognition – no matter the size.

Passionate about using a variety of creative media to lead, educate, and inspire, Murrell founded The Story Sketcher in 2016.  “When I was in high school, I had to do a lot of presentations and so I decided to make my presentations a little bit different,” says Murrell.  “I started to make the animated videos for school projects. They were really simple, but they were the starting point.”  To continue developing her skills, she works as the Marketing Manager at Apprentice University and Partnership Director at Coram Deo Academy. She studies Humanities and Business Administration at Boyce College and hopes to graduate at the end of 2019.

The Entrepreneur Program is part of FORUM’s Young Leaders Council, a group of young adults, ages 17-24, coming together to gain financial skills, collaborating on new ideas for products to better serve young Credit Union members, and discussing financial related topics important to today's youth.
