Use this easy-to-follow chart to keep track of your deposits each week:
After your 52-Week Money Challenge account has been opened, you will see it in your CU Online account. Look for "52 WEEK" under your certificate accounts.
1) Log in to CU Online. Hover over Transfers in the menu and select New Transfer.
2) CU Online allows you to schedule your transfer in advance or to transfer funds immediately. Simply select your "From Account" and then select "52 WEEK" as your "To Account."
3) Enter the amount you would like to transfer.
4) Select the frequency and date. If you would like to make the transfer later in the week, select "One Time" and the date. If you do not wish to wait, you can select "Immediately."
5) Finish by selecting next and confirming your settings.
Yes, but it requires scheduling the same amount each week (instead of $1, $2, $3).
To do this, set up a weekly transfer of $26.50 per week. This still totals $1,378 after 52 weeks and qualifies you to be entered into the drawing to win $1,378.
1) Log in to CU Online. Hover over Transfers in the menu and select New Transfer.
2) Simply select your "From Account" and then select 52 WEEK as your "To Account."
3) Enter $26.50 for your amount.
4) For your frequency and date, select Weekly and the date that you would like to begin. Recurring transfers occur every 7 days beginning with the payment date you select.
5) If you do not wish to continue once the year is over, choose to end the transfers after 52 occurrences.
- Schedule transfers for weekly deposits within CU Online.
- Create custom alerts via text or email to notify you of automatic transfers and balances.
- Work backward and start the program by making the largest deposit first.
- Deposit $26.50 each week to save $1,378 at the end of the 52 weeks.
