What is FORUM's Young Leaders Council?
The FORUM Credit Union Young Leaders Council is a group of students and young adults coming together to gain financial skills, collaborate on new ideas for products to better serve young Credit Union members and discuss financial related topics important to today's youth.
Why Should I Join YLC?
Young Leaders Council members will gain experience in community leadership and business etiquette, gain peer leadership skills and have an opportunity to make suggestions on the decisions of the Credit Union while serving as a youth ambassador in the community.
Who Can Join The Council?
We would like to invite youth throughout the community, ages 16–24, to join as little or as often as you would like! Members, nonmembers, students at partner schools and friends of all of the above are welcome to join us for fun brainstorming and collaborating!
When Does YLC Meet?
This part is up to the group! Do you want to meet quarterly, bi-annually, with web meetings or over coffee? As a group, we can decide what works best for everybody's schedule and come up with a plan together.
We will meet at FORUM Headquarters in Fishers, other meeting places in the surrounding community or even via online webinars.
