Consent to Receive SMS Communications: By providing your mobile phone number and consenting to receive SMS communications, you authorize FORUM Credit Union and its service providers to send informational and transactional communications related to your membership, accounts, loans, products, and services to the mobile number you provide. 

Your consent to receive SMS communications is obtained through the applicable agreements, disclosures, forms, or electronic processes associated with establishing or maintaining your membership and the accounts, loans, products, or services you request or use. 

Your authorization to receive SMS communications is governed by the applicable agreements and disclosures associated with your membership and the accounts, loans, and services you request or use. Consent to receive SMS communications is not required as a condition of obtaining any product or service from FORUM Credit Union.

Types of SMS Communications: Depending on the accounts, loans, products, and services you request or use, you may receive the following informational and transactional SMS communications from FORUM Credit Union, including but not limited to:

• Account notifications, including account alerts and account updates;
• Administrative communications, including service notifications, opt-out confirmations, and other administrative messages;
• Loan servicing communications, including payment reminders and loan servicing updates;
• Member service communications, including appointment reminders and other important information related to your membership, accounts, loans, products, and services;
• Security communications, including fraud alerts, identity verification, and other security notifications;
• Collection communications, including delinquent loan notices, overdrawn or negative deposit account notifications, and other collection-related activities, when applicable. 

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your accounts, services, and interactions with FORUM Credit Union.

Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for information regarding your messaging or data plan.

Opting Out and Assistance: You may opt out of receiving SMS communications at any time by replying STOP, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any SMS communication from FORUM Credit Union. You may also opt out through any other method permitted by applicable law, including contacting FORUM Credit Union directly by phone, through our website or form we provide, by email, secure message, or in person at a FORUM Credit Union branch location. 

After you reply STOP, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE, you will receive one final confirmation message. No additional SMS communications will be sent unless you choose to opt in again.

Changes to Services and Terms: FORUM Credit Union reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue its SMS communication services or this SMS Privacy Notice and Terms of Use at any time, with or without notice. As appropriate, updates will be posted to this page. 

Service Availability and Carrier Disclaimer: FORUM Credit Union and wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. 

SMS communication services may not be available through all wireless carriers or on all mobile devices.
